Crashing into the 60s: Film Posters from the Collection
18 Films on Screen
The George Eastman Museum is celebrating its diamond anniversary with an exhibition of film posters from the 1960s, completely from its own collection. This series connects to and expands upon the posters in the exhibition, providing a glimpse into the cinema during this decade of change. Spanning genres, and from countries around the world, these films represent some of the biggest hits of the decade, as well as those that have grown in regard, along with a few rare titles that reflect the attitudes and concerns of filmmakers at the time.
