Travel agent Sarika (Urmila Matondkar) is pursued by Karan (Saif Ali Khan), a customer and handsome, mysterious man. While falling for Karan, Sarika begins to suspect something is wrong when he is often away on business. During one of these trips, Karan asks her to host one of his friends, who happens to be in Mumbai for an assassination. Swept up into the world of gangsterism, Sarika is sent to prison, hoping to find the person who set her up, and planning her revenge. Bright and stylish, this film is a love story, prison film, and suspense thriller all rolled into one.
