Museum Day—Free Admission for All

Saturday, September 21, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

The museum will be open for free, in the spirit of Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day.

Experience the exhibitions The Art of Warner Bros. Cartoons and Tanya Marcuse: Woven, see the History of Photography Gallery celebration of the Apollo 11 moon landing, explore hands-on activities for all ages in the Discovery Room, and join us for the following events throughout the day—all for free:

10:30 a.m. & 2 p.m. Guided Tour of the Historic Mansion
11 a.m. Guided Gallery Tour in Sign Language (register in advance: tours@eastman.org)
12 p.m. Focus 45 Talk – Photography and the Joining of the Transcontinental Railroad: 150 Years, by Associate Curator Heather Shannon
1 p.m. Guided Gallery Tour
3:30 p.m. Guided Garden Tour

Visitors to the Eastman Museum will not need to present a Museum Day ticket for free admission, as all visitors will be admitted for free.
