Holidays

The holiday season isn’t complete without films at the Dryden Theatre! Whether you’re a fan of the classics, the newer classics, or the films you’ve never seen before, the Dryden has you covered from Thanksgiving to Christmas. This year, you can revel in the antics of Laurel and Hardy in the original Babes in Toyland (Gus Meins, Charley Rogers, 1934), marvel at Rosalind Russell’s Academy Award–nominated performance as Auntie Mame (Morton Da Costa, 1958), or be bedeviled by Bill Murray’s refresh of A Christmas Carol in Scrooged (Richard Donner, 1988). We’ve got an update of a classic in The Preacher’s Wife (Penny Marshall, 1996), the ultimate classic in It’s a Wonderful Life (Frank Capra, 1946), and a new-to-you classic in the British The Holly and the Ivy (George More O'Ferrall, 1952)—which is also our free member movie for December.

Plus, don’t miss our meet and greet with Karolyn Grimes and Jimmy Hawkins (who played Zuzu and Tommy) before our screening of It’s a Wonderful Life on December 7!
