The vision for the PhotoFinish 5K is that it should be a realization of Mr. Eastman’s philanthropic spirit and benefit the entire community.

The goal of the race is to raise funds for both George Eastman Museum and other Rochester not-for-profits, and to hold an event that embodies both George Eastman’s philanthropic spirit and his ideals of wellness and health. George Eastman is as well known for his international philanthropy and his support of health, education, and arts organizations as he is for his business success. This event is a continuation of Mr. Eastman’s wish to make Rochester the best place to live and work, and George Eastman Museum is excited to be able to help sustain his legacy.

PhotoFinish 5K partners with CrowdRise, a powerful online fundraising platform that makes it easy and fun for all runners and walkers to fundraise for the charities most dear to them! This race is a valuable opportunity for the entire community to join together to make the George Eastman Museum Photo Finish 5K the most impactful fundraising event in the region.
