Lead, develop, and implement the strategy for the museum’s digital engagement experiences both online and onsite. The Development Officer is responsible for supporting the Vice President of Development in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of leadership annual campaign gifts and major gifts in support of the museum’s funding priorities. The Development Officer will establish and manage their own portfolio of individual, corporate, and private foundation prospects in the Greater Rochester area and beyond, with a focus on securing high-level annual fund gifts and membership gifts, in addition to support for exhibitions, public programs, and capital projects.

Executive Assistant to the Director and Vice Presidents

The Executive Assistant to the Director and Vice Presidents provides high-level administrative support to the museum’s Director; Vice President, Finance and Operations; and Vice President Development. Responsibilities include logistical coordination for the museum’s Board of Trustees meetings and various board committee meetings.  The position will require initiative, sound judgement, independent decision-making, confidentiality, guest services skills, and a robust sense of humor.

The Director of Annual Giving reports to the Vice President of Development and oversees membership and annual-fun programs to secure unrestricted operating support for the museum. Responsibilities include management of a Member Services and Annual Giving Coordinator and the Development Darabase Administrator, while leading day-to-day operations, strategy development, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
