Part-time Help Desk Technician

The Help Desk Technician serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. The position utilizes both remote tools and being on-site troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques to determine the best solution based on customers’ issues and details. The Help Desk Technician must also communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient in dealing with all technical knowledge types that a customer may possess.

Preservation Officer

Under the supervision of the Preservation Manager for the Moving Image Department (MID), the Preservation Officer will manage the technical operations, maintenance, and ongoing upgrade of the Moving Image Department’s Digital Laboratory for the purposes of preservation of the museum’s collection objects, their public exhibition and access, archival education, and other digital work for the museum and external clients. They will assist the Preservation Manager in the design, oversight, and execution of all technical and curatorial operations.
