Story Stroll

Enjoy the museum's library garden filled with blooming annuals while you take in a sweet story about bees. In partnership with the Monroe County LIbrary system, we have created a story stroll featuring The Thing About Bees: A Love Letter, by Shabazz Larkin. Larkin, who admits to being afraid of bees himself, wrote this book to his own children as a way to install appreciation and love for these important parts of our ecosystem.

Read the pages of the book as you stroll through the garden. Maybe you'll spot some bees along the way!
