Rochester, N.Y., May 20, 2014—The Garden Vibes summer concert series at George Eastman House is back for its 21st year. The outdoor concerts will take place on Wednesday evenings, once a month from June through August. Bring a picnic, relax with friends, and enjoy family activities in George Eastman’s historic Townson Terrace Garden and the surrounding grounds. Concerts are 6 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, June 4 The Revelers
Founding members of the Red Stick Ramblers and the Pine Leaf Boys, described as “two groups at the vanguard of the Louisiana cultural renaissance,” joined to form the Revelers. Cajun, country, blues, and zydeco combine into a powerful tonic of roots music that’s sure to get you moving.
Wednesday, July 16 The Ginger Faye Bakers
The Ginger Faye Bakers are a rock-n-roll band through and through. The Rochester-based band will perform songs from their latest release, Feast, as well as rock classics from the Beatles, David Bowie, T-Rex, and more.
Wednesday, August 13 Samantha Fish
Winner of the 2012 Blues Music Award for Best New Debut Artist, Kansas City musician Samantha Fish plays up a storm with her trademark guitar work and soulful vocals.
Gates open at 5 p.m. We encourage you to bring blankets and/or chairs and your own picnic fixings, or purchase concessions on-site from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Abbott’s Frozen Custard, and Eastman House Café. There will not be a bar on site, but you can bring your own or purchase non-alcoholic beverages at the event.
The museum is offering new lower ticket prices this year for adults and Eastman House members. Admission rates for each of the 2014 concerts: $10 adults, $6 members, $5 college students (with ID) and youth (ages 13–18), and free to children ages 12 and under with paid adult admission. The ticket includes admission to George Eastman House and children’s lawn activities. Tickets are available at the gate, and advance tickets are available at eastmanhouse.org, the Lipson Welcome Center, and the Dryden Theatre box office. No refunds; no rain dates.
