Rochester, N.Y., June 12, 2018—The George Eastman Museum has appointed Jacqueline DiStefano, CPA as Vice President, Finance and Operations. She will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the accounting and finance, human resources, and information technology departments of the museum, as well as the Eastman Museum’s shop and cafe. DiStefano will be succeeding Thomas J. Combs, who is retiring, and will begin in her new role on July 16.
DiStefano brings more than thirty years of experience in finance and administration in higher education. She previously was the Vice President for Financial Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at St. John Fisher College for four years. She has held similar positions at SUNY New Paltz as the Vice President for Finance and Administration, and at The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Operation Officer. DiStefano recently served as Financial Administrator for the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford.

DiStefano is deeply committed to serving the Rochester community. She is currently a director and chair of the Volunteer Services Committee and member of the Regional Advisory Council for the Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross. She is also active with Rochester’s youth, providing tutoring services for the Rochester City School District; serving as a Board Finance Committee member and mentor to the Director of Finance with EquiCenter Inc. and as a Y Leadership Ambassador for the YMCA of Greater Rochester.
She is a graduate of Clarkson University, where she received a bachelor of science degree with concentrations in managerial and public accounting. DiStefano currently resides in Rochester.
