George Eastman Museum hires Douglas Nordquist as security manager

 

Rochester, N.Y., July 1, 2015—The George Eastman Museum has hired Douglas Nordquist for the position of security [[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_large","fid":"12798","attributes":{"alt":"","class":"media-image","style":"line-height: 1.42857; width: 294px; height: 342px; float: right;","typeof":"foaf:Image"}}]]manager.

Nordquist retired as the Chief of Police for the town of Ogden and the village of Spencerport last year, after serving since 2004. Prior to his position with the town Ogden, he was a chief deputy with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for 30 years.

As security manager for the Eastman Museum, Nordquist is responsible for the oversight of all security and safety issues both operationally and administratively throughout the museum and its property. He currently resides in Brighton.
