An Affair to Remember

Holidays. Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr are star-crossed lovers who meet on an ocean voyage and pledge to reunite at the Empire State Building—until fate and near tragedy get in their way. A wonderful love story with comic overtones, director Leo McCarey’s remake of his own Love Affair (1939) features stellar performances from the two leads and a tear-jerking conclusion set at Christmastime.
