A sadistic, wheelchair-bound warden subjects her inmates to shock treatments and lobotomies in Caged Heat, a cult favorite among women-in-prison movie fans and a feature debut of Jonathan Demme who later returned to a prison setting in a more respectable The Silence of the Lambs. The musical score is by Ex-Velvet Underground member John Cale.
