A nail-biting behind-the-scenes drama about the intense physical and mental labor put into a sport that thrives on its beautiful aesthetics. Elite rhythmic gymnast Margarita Mamun has reached a crucial moment in her career. She’s soon to retire (at age 20), but has one final goal set out for her: winning Olympic gold. This documentary leading up to the 2016 summer games in Brazil observes the overwhelming physical preparation that goes into competing at the international level, as well as the psychological and emotional abuse that purports to toughen her up for the final stage in her career.
