12 Postcards from Prison | Silent Tuesdays. An embezzler fakes his own death and assumes another identity when his firm launches an investigation. Soon he is charged with his own murder, and then discovers that his wife has remarried and is expecting a child. Will he take his secret to the electric chair to ensure her happiness? DeMille turned heads with his use of double imagery and lighting to show the psychological experience of the protagonist in this technically innovative film.
