Documentary Photography for Teens (Ages 14–17)

The George Eastman Museum and the Flower City Arts Center team up to bring you Documentary Photography for Teens. This week-long workshop will teach students how to use a 35 mm film camera (including f-stops, shutter speeds, ISO, and proper exposure) and how to make their own black-and-white prints in a darkroom. Students will have the unique experience of meeting renowned photographer Eugene Richards for an exclusive tour of his exhibition The Run-On of Time. An online gallery of students' work will be created at the completion of the workshop. This workshop is led by and takes place at the Flower City Arts Center, 713 Monroe Ave., Rochester.

Included: Camera rental, b&w film and paper, and field trip to the George Eastman Museum.

Required: Students must bring their own lunch. Snacks provided.
