John Landis and Deborah Nadoolman Landis to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Animal House at the George Eastman Museum

Rochester, N.Y., May 09, 2018—
The George Eastman Museum will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Animal House (Landis, US 1978) with a screening of a 35mm print of the film on Saturday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m. The film’s director, John Landis, and its costume designer, Deborah Nadoolman Landis, will introduce the film and, after the screening, will share stories and insights about the making of this classic.

May 18 is International Museum Day and Art Museum Day, a worldwide celebration of museums. In honor of this day, join us during your lunch break for a guided tour at 12:10 p.m. of our new History of Photography rotation, featuring photographs created, hand-colored, and collected by women, and try your hand at hand-coloring film stills as part of the exhibition Dreaming in Color. 

Free to members; included with museum admission.
