Upon graduating from The L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation select graduates are awarded fellowships to preserve a short film from the George Eastman Museum Moving Image Department Collection. Alumni from Canyon Cinema, George Eastman Museum, the University of Chicago, the University of Rochester, and other institutions from around the world will be joining us for tonight’s tribute to the school, providing introductions to their fellowship films (including one title now on the National Film Registry). They will share behind the scenes stories about their film’s preservation and their careers after the Selznick School. Live piano by Philip C. Carli.
