(Alfred Hitchcock, US 1954, 105 min., DCP)

Initially created with 3-D in mind, but rarely exhibited that way, Dial M for Murder stars Ray Milland as a calculating husband plotting the demise of his unfaithful wife (played with precision by Grace Kelly). Hitchcock’s subtle yet effective use of the third dimension is only one of the many pleasures in this tale of pre-meditation and perfect crime, as the deadly game of cat and mouse is executed with the director’s characteristically ingenious employment of camera angles and props.
