Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach are the title triumvirate: double-crossing rivals in a Civil War-era odyssey for a treasure of gold. One of the most entertaining (and violent) Western epics ever conceived, Leone’s final chapter in his “Dollars” trilogy has been magnificently restored to its original Italian running time. Wallach and Eastwood returned to dub previously unrecorded dialogue from the Italian sequences. Remastered in stereo, Ennio Morricone’s glorious score sounds more magnificent than ever.

The Work of Ennio Morricone

Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore (best known for Cinema Paradiso) turned his lens on legendary film composer Ennio Morricone for a documentary before his death. Over a career of 60 years and more than 500 films, Morricone composed some of the most indelible film music in history, not to mention additional careers in pop songs and experimental music.
