12 Postcards from Prison. A group of Allied POWs attempt a daring escape from a Nazi prison. Pooling their talents, the soldiers try to stay one step ahead of their captors. Skilled direction and an all-star cast, including Steve McQueen, James Garner, and Charles Bronson, made this rousing action movie an enormous hit when it was released. It has since gone on to set the standard for escape flicks and become one of the classic war films of all time.
