Cocker Spaniel Lady finds herself displaced when her owners leave her with their newborn baby and the dog-hating aunt in Disney’s first feature-length animation produced in CinemaScope. When a mutt from the wrong side of the tracks, Tramp, visits her, the two embark on an adventure and fall in love over a plate of pasta. Full of unforgettable canine characters and show stopping tunes (sung by Peggy Lee), this endearing love story is bound to leave your tail a-wagging.

70 Years of Cinemascope

The moviegoing experience changed in 1953 with the release of the first films shot in Cinemascope. Almost doubling the width of the conventional cinema image, filmmakers could now challenge the ubiquity of television with images that far exceeded those audiences could get at home.

A Disney Centennial

After a brief stint as an animator in Kansas City in the early 1920s, Walt Disney moved to Hollywood to found Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio in October of 1923 with his brother, Roy. Beginning as a small animation studio, the company was creating iconic characters and films within a decade and has grown to one of the largest entertainment companies in the world.
