The fourth entry in director George Miller’s Mad Max saga made a huge splash upon its release, receiving ten Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and garnering fans around the world. Max (Tom Hardy), traveling a post-apocalyptic sandscape, is captured by Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) and his gang and is assigned to be a blood donor for Nux (Nicholas Hoult), who is dying. Enter Furiosa (Charlize Theron), a truck driver for Joe who has a secret plan to rescue the five women selected to breed with Joe and take them to her homeland. Across the blazing desert, Max, Furiosa, and the women try to stay one step ahead of Nux and Joe’s pursuing hordes.
