Mission: Impossible

When Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) becomes the sole survivor of a busted mission intended to ferret out a mole in the Impossible Missions Force, he must put together a team of disavowed intelligence agents, including Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) and Franz Krieger (Jean Reno). In order to clear his name, Hunt must break into CIA headquarters and steal a list of secret undercover agents, putting both himself and those agents at risk. Director Brian De Palma brings his high-intensity style to this adaptation of the television series, with dynamic action scenes and twisty intrigue. The all-star cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Vanessa Redgrave, Emilio Estevez, and Jon Voight reprising the role that Peter Graves brought to the small screen in the original series.
