Duke the Dog takes on the title role in this Tom Mix western adventure. When malicious baggage handler Dan Angus (George Bancroft) throws two dogs off a train, Dave Deering (Mix) finds the larger one, takes him in, and re-names him Teeth. Deering, who has built up some animosity in town, is easily framed for the robbery and murder of the postmaster, which Angus is guilty of. With the previous owner looking for her dog, Deering on the run, and Angus on his trail for revenge, it’s up to Teeth to save the day. Preceded by another western dog adventure directed by Mix, in which a lost dog plays a critical role in foiling a plot to demolish a mine.
