Free Community Day: Juneteenth

Sunday, June 19, 2022, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., George Eastman Museum

In observance of Juneteenth and the closing of the exhibition Joshua Rashaad McFadden: I Believe I'll Run On, the George Eastman Museum is offering free admission to all. 

The exhibition galleries and historic mansion will be open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. The Discovery Room will be open with hands-on activities.

There will also be two free film screenings in the Dryden Theatre:

  • 1 p.m. The Throwaways (Ira McKinley, Bhawin Suchak, US 2013, 65 min., DCP)
  • 3:30 p.m. Amazing Grace (Sydney Pollack, Alan Elliott, US 2018, 89 min., DCP)

Please note: We are currently requiring proof of vaccination, photo ID, and masks for all guests entering the Dryden Theatre. However, proof of vaccination and masks are not required for entrance to the museum.
