Local organist Margaret-Mary Owens will perform an hour-long concert on the Aeolian pipe organ in the Conservatory.
Owens received her bachelor of music degree in organ performance in 2016 from the Florida State University. She graduated from the studio of Professor Nathan Laube with her master of music degree in organ performance and literature in 2019 and is now a DMA candidate and teaching assistant for Professor Anne Laver at the Eastman School of Music. Owens is currently the organist and associate director of liturgical music at the Southeast Rochester Catholic Community, where she founded and coordinates the First Fridays at St. Mary's monthly concert series.
