Members are invited to join us for an afternoon in the kitchen with George Eastman. You'll see firsthand from our team how to make a couple of Eastman's recipes from his 1918 camp cookbook, including a bread pudding and a savory cheese pudding. While our food bakes, Legacy Curator Kathy Connor will share stories and answer questions about Eastman's favorite recipes and cooking habits.

Bread Pudding Ingredients:
1 heaping cup of cubed bread
1 cup hot milk
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tablespoon vanilla extract
Few dashes of nutmeg
Cheese Pudding Ingredients:
4 oz. bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of grated cheese
Pepper, salt, and cayenne
2 eggs
Dash of milk
Supplies needed:
Mixing bowl
Oven pre-heated to 350
Small greased baking dish for each dish
