Focus 45: Mark Osterman, The Making of Motion Picture Film

Eastman Museum Process Historian Mark Osterman will give an illustrated lecture with rare images of the beginnings of the motion picture industry highlighting how early film was made—from mixing the emulsion to projection of the positive print. He will also discuss the recent revival of hand-making film right here at the Eastman Museum.
