Women have been essential to the production of photographic objects and the progression of the medium since ​photography's invention. Join Rachel E. Andrews, assistant collection manager in the Department of Photography, for a discussion of ​the photographs exhibited in the most recent installation of the museum's History of Photography Gallery. The selections in this rotation highlight works by ​women ​photographers, artists, printers, and entrepreneurs.
