Join us for an in-depth discussion of our newest exhibition, James Tylor: From an Untouched Landscape. In this virtual talk, guest curator Marina Tyquiengco and artist James Tylor, joining from Australia, will discuss the artist's training as a photographer and carpenter and how he takes his practice beyond those mediums to examine under-told and often unseen histories of Aboriginal peoples.
James Tylor is a multidisciplinary artist with Nunga (Kaurna Miyurna), Māori (Te Arawa), and European ancestry.
Marina Tyquiengco (CHamoru), is the Assistant Curator of Native American Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Free to members; $10 suggested for nonmembers.
