ONLINE—Behind the Scenes of Dutch Connection

Join us for an in-depth look into the making of the Dutch Connection bulb display. Landscape Manager Dan Bellavia will discuss various aspects of making a large flower show happen, including the history of the event and the inspiration for the display. As part of this online talk, guests will get a guided video tour of this year's display.

Free to members; $10 nonmembers. 

Tickets for both members and nonmembers available through Eventbrite.

Process Demonstration: In this webinar, Historic Process Specialist Nick Brandreth will give a demonstration, showing how stereocards are made using albumen prints and basic materials found at your local art store. Boyer Cataloger in the Department of Photography Lilyan Jones will share a brief history of this fun and unique technology, sharing examples from the museum’s Boyer Collection.
