He’s the preacher at the evangelical church they run together; she handles administrative duties and helps write his sermons. They’re genuinely decent people, preaching the gospel and doing their best to do what’s right. The couple has earned the respect of their congregation, and thanks to their efforts the parish is on the verge of an expansion, with plans to build an elaborate new community center.
