Nick Nicolaou has been involved in New York City film exhibition for more than forty years. From the adult film houses of Times Square in the 1970s through city regulation and the rise of chain theaters, to finally becoming an independent theater owner, Nick has seen it all. In this documentary, New York filmmaker Abel Ferrara traces the life and work of his friend and fellow cinephile, uncovering not only a history of cinema in the city, but a history of the city itself.
