Gallery Talk: Stories of Indian Cinema
Amit Patil, graduate student in the Eastman Museum's L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation, will share his insights and personal stories of Indian cinema inspired by the film posters presented in the exhibition Stories of Indian Cinema: Abandoned and Rescued.
Focus 45: George Eastman in 1918
Jesse Peers, archivist in the George Eastman Legacy Collection, explores what George Eastman’s life was like a hundred years ago, through photographs and other archival documentation. This talk is presented in conjunction with a display on the second floor of the mansion that highlights objects from the Legacy and photography collections.
Focus 45: The Gabriel Cromer Project
Heather Shannon, associate curator; Edith Cuerrier, project cataloger; and Allan Phoenix, project photographer, will discuss their work on the Gabriel Cromer Collection.
