The film provides a veritable feast for the eyes and ears as Rossano Brazzi and Mitzi Gaynor find love, anguish, and eventual happiness amid the setting of a war-torn Pacific island. The stellar soundtrack includes such classics as “Bali Ha’i,” “Some Enchanted Evening,” and “Happy Talk.”
