Lena Herzog: Sculpting in Time

Thursday, November 7, 2019, 6 p.m., Dryden Theatre

Lena Herzog is multimedia artist, who, in addition to her recent projects in immersive art forms, has produced extensive bodies of photographic work while traveling the globe. From rock gardens in Venezuela and Brazil to monks in India and Tibet, her subjects illustrate life in its most intimate and raw form. Book signing follows.

After the talk, the artist will introduce a special one-night DCP screening of her film Last Whispers, an elegy about the mass extinction of languages. Film begins at 7:30 p.m.

Wish You Were Here is generously sponsored by museum member Dr. Thomas N. Tischer.
