Physical Description: The material in the collection showed significant scorching and soot, with some water and mold damage. The worst of these were cleaned or trimmed to prevent further deterioration.

Scope & Contents: This collection comprises the research files of Dr. Fritz Wentzel. Materials in the collection consist of photo paper manufacturers' instruction sheets, examples of photographic prints on some of the papers, many of which were made by Dr. Wentzel, Wentzel's handwritten notes, articles about photographic materials and processes, and process recipes.
