A small amount of personal material focuses on founding partner Bert Underwood. The collection consists of newspaper and magazine clippings published between 1925 and 1947 and seven brief manuscripts written by Bert Underwood late in his life, in which he recounts some memories from his work and travels.

Scope & Contents: The newspaper and magazine clippings in the collection provide general company history of Underwood and Underwood as well as some personal information pertaining to Bert Underwood, particularly his obituaries and articles published at the time of his 50th wedding anniversary. The manuscripts recount brief stories and impressions from his international travels, including the experience of photographing the coronation of England's King Edward VII.
